Has a special interest in the management of abnormal pap smears, infertility, adolescent exams, irregular menstrual cycles, normal and high-risk pregnancies, family planning and contraception, menopause and perimenopause, and minimally invasive surgeries.
She believes in empowering women through evidence-based medicine and education so that each woman has the ability to make the best decision for herself. She also believes it is a privilege to walk alongside patients on their journey to wellness.
Dr. Swearingen’s hometown is Grayslake, Illinois. In her spare time, she loves to experiment in the kitchen. She also enjoys baseball, boating, horseback riding, running, travel and yoga.
