Kids Day at the Farmers Market

The Madelia Farmers Market will be having a special Kids Day on Wednesday, September 4th from 3:30 to 6 p.m. A scavenger hunt and other activities will be available for kids to participate in. Beth Labenz, SNAP-Ed Educator- Health & Nutrition Programs, Watonwan County Extension Office will lead the activity. Watonwan County Public Health will be present with resources and free children’s books while supplies last! There is no charge to participate.

The Madelia Farmer’s Market is every Wednesday from 3:30 to 6 p.m. It is a cash/check only market; credit cards and EBT are not accepted at this time. The market is located across the street from the Madelia Community Hospital & Clinic on Drew Avenue Southeast. Come out with your kids or grandkids to support your local farmers during the peak market season this summer.
