The Madelia Health Foundation values an educated workforce and encourages people that are pursuing careers in health care. The Foundation offers scholarships to students who have been accepted into an accredited academic program leading to a career in health care.

This year we are excited to offer four renewable scholarships!

Available Scholarships

This $500 renewable scholarship is available for Madelia High School seniors who are pursuing a career in health care. Students must be a resident of Madelia or the surrounding area. Students must be accepted in an accredited associate or bachelor’s degree program to be eligible for the scholarship.

This $500 renewable scholarship is available for Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial High School seniors who are pursuing a career in health care. Students must be a resident of Lake Crystal or the surrounding area. Students must be accepted in an accredited associate or bachelor’s degree program to be eligible for the scholarship.

This $1,000 renewable scholarship is available for a Madelia area student interested in pursuing a degree in Radiology or Lab Science. The scholarship is available to non-traditional students as well as high school seniors. Students must be accepted in a diploma or degree program at an accredited trade, associate or baccalaureate school.

This $1,000 renewable scholarship is available to Madelia area students pursuing a career in the nursing field or to returning students pursuing advanced training in the nursing field. Students must be accepted in a diploma or degree program at an accredited trade, associate or baccalaureate school.

Submit completed scholarship packet by 3 p.m. on Friday, April 14th, 2023 to:

  • High School Counselor’s Office at Madelia High School or
  • High School Counselor’s Office at Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial High School or
  • Madelia Health Foundation Office (Please give to Executive Director in sealed envelope)
